Our state-of-the-art drones are equipped with RGB LED lights that create a wide variety of shapes and effects and a palette of around 16 million colours that capture the spectator’s attention with every flight.

AIR SAFETY AT EVERY SHOW
At UMILES, we take care of processing air safety-related permits, speeding up the process for our clients. Our main objective is to prevent any incidents and accidents by ensuring compliance with the relevant regulations and obtaining the necessary air permits from the State Aviation Safety Agency (AESA).
Technological innovation in our drones
Geofencing
These devices control the flight precisely, keeping the drones within the virtual geographical limits. The safety devices incorporated in the drone are used to analyse the limits of the area in which it is located, avoiding restricted places or risks related to the protection of the assistants.
Kill Switch
Safety mechanism that ensures that the drone remains in the designated flight area.
Anti-collision systems
Specialised sensors that detect and avoid obstacles in their environment. These sensors collect crucial data on distance, speed and direction, which is then sent to the drone’s control system for analysis and appropriate response.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF CREATING A DRONE SHOW LIKE?
The flight of the drones is synchronised by specialised software that not only controls the movement, but also harmonises the lights and music to create an immersive experience. Used in light shows, these drones, weighing less than 1kg, are capable of reproducing 16 million RGB colours, allowing for a wide range of hues.
These shows take place exclusively at night, adjusting their schedule according to the season, starting at 18:00 hours in winter and extending until 22:00 hours in summer.
Safety is paramount in these shows and is addressed on two levels:
- Safety in the airspace
- Safety on the ground
The images created in the air are composed of points of light, resulting in dynamic compositions ranging from simple animated silhouettes to elaborate complex structures. As the number of participating drones increases, the definition of the figures created becomes even sharper.

DRONE LIGHT SHOWS IN MADRID
El hormiguero: For the premiere of the 70th season of El hormiguero, a drone show was performed at a height of more than 100 metres using customised lights with the show’s characteristic symbolism. The sky was lit up with the iconic ant dancing in the sky accompanied by visual effects that captured the UMILES essence, demonstrating the versatility and customisability of any drone show.
Casa de Campo: Considered one of the largest in Spain, during Columbus Day in Casa de Campo, an exhibition was held with 300 drones. With a festive theme, they created an unforgettable experience for all attendees.
Torrejón de Ardoz: During the patron saint festivities in Torrejón de Ardoz, our drones with lights illuminated the sky with light, recreating traditional shapes and phrases of the municipality in a unique visual performance.
Majadahonda: On the occasion of Majadahonda’s most important festival, a drone light show was performed. A representation of iconic scenes of the city and symbolic figures of the local culture was performed.
Brunete: show based on symbols representing the history of the municipality and emblematic elements of its festive traditions.

DURATION OF A DRONE SHOW
At UMILES Group, our drone shows are customizable and versatile to meet each client’s preferences and needs. We are not tied to a specific time, allowing us to design a show that perfectly fits the desired duration.
Typically, our shows last more than 10 minutes on average, but thanks to techniques such as combining drone swarms, we can double that duration if necessary.
COST OF STAGING A DRONE SHOW IN MADRID
The price of a drone show varies depending on the chosen theme and the number of drones used.
The displays start with swarms of 120 drones, although events with more than 1,000 drones will be seen soon.
Today, we offer 2 types of shows for events:
